Program Summary
The Filmmakers for the Future Hybrid Mini-Producing Lab is an after-school program focused on media and entrepreneurship, designed for students in grades 9 through 12. Throughout the program, students will gain hands-on experience in the creative and business aspects of independent media production. Students will also learn how to create professional pitch decks. The Hybrid Mini-Producing Lab culminates in a public presentation in which students will have the opportunity to showcase their work. The purpose of the Hybrid Mini-Producing Lab is to empower students to tell their own stories and provide them with the skills they need to be successful filmmakers by teaching and critiquing them at a Hollywood-standard level.
